Rob Zombie bassist Piggy D releasing solo album

Current Rob Zombie bassist and former Wednesday 13/Amen bassist Matt Montgomery (Piggy D) is set to release a new solo album on July 31st, 2007. Piggy said in a recent radio interview that the record will be available in the official online store as well as a few digital download sites. "This record doesn't sound like any band I've ever been in," he said. "If fans of my former bands dig it, that's cool; if not, that's fine too. I plan on being around for a while playing music that I love on stage and on records. I'm having more fun in ZOMBIE than I've ever had in my life."

Two new songs are up on his MySpace site. No One Knows You're Alive and Mr. Anxiety are said to be two of the more straight-forward rock songs on his new classic rock, punk and metal influenced debut solo album The Evacuation Plan
